Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Group Lead – Agro
to lead our Hyderabad R&D; team. This role is responsible for
driving the strategic direction of agrochemical R&D; projects
, managing a group of chemists, and ensuring successful development of products from lab to pilot scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee synthesis, process development, and formulation projects for agrochemical products.
- Mentor, train, and manage a team of Junior and Senior chemists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Drive technology transfer and scale-up from lab to pilot plant and support manufacturing integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, analytical, regulatory, and quality for successful product delivery.
- Define and execute R&D; strategies and roadmaps, aligned with business objectives and market needs.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, EHS, GMP, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Identify new opportunities for innovation, cost optimization, and process improvements.
- Represent R&D; in management meetings and provide regular project updates.
