Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for Chassis parts

like Fuel Tank (Plastic, Sheet Metal), Fine Blanking,

Forgings, Brake System, Suspension, Mounts & Bushes,

Subframe, RTB, Exhaust & After-treatment systems Drive

VA/VE, localization, best-cost-country sourcing, and supplier

consolidation

• Lead RFQs, negotiations, and contracting for Chassis parts

& assemblies

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers (India &

Globally)

• Lead supplier capability building (quality, cost, delivery, ESG

compliance)

• Drive dual sourcing & alternate supplier strategies to

mitigate risk

• Support current product introduction (NPI) and part

development with suppliers

• Partner with R&D;, Manufacturing, Quality & Finance for new

programs





• Support make-or-buy decisions, BoM cost optimization &

design-to-cost

• Implement procurement governance, compliance, and digital

tools while proactively managing supply risks and continuity

crisis

Preferred candidate profile
- 10+yrs of experience in procurement, sourcing or SCM
- Strong knowledge of sourcing of chassis commodities,

manufacturing processes, and tooling cost structures
- Advanced negotiations, RFQ strategy, contract

management
- Cost modelling, should-costing, VA/VE, YoY etc
- BE / BTech (Mechanical / Industrial) + MBA (Preferred)
- Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions is required
