ACCOUNTANT (FINALIZATION)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

*We, at Ellipsis Group, Comprising Keiyan MEP, Frontier Furniture & Touchwood Interiors, are seeking an experienced and analytical* *Accounts Skilled* *responsible for finalization of accounts, taxation, statutory compliance, and audit co-ordination as per Indian accounting and tax laws. The role requires strong exposure to Income Tax, GST, and CA/Audit handling, preferably in the interior or construction/project-based industry. The ideal candidate will possess solid numerical skills and a deep understanding of accounting procedures. Success in this role requires close collaboration with project managers, procurement teams, and site personnel to ensure seamless financial documentation and project accountability*, including communicating with consultants, authorities and responding to notices.

Key Responsibilities

· Accounting & Finalization:

o Finalization of books of accounts on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

o Preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statements, and schedules.





o Ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards (AS) applicable in India.

o Project-wise accounting, job costing, and margin analysis (interior projects)

· Taxation (India Compliance):

o Income Tax finalization including computation of taxable income

o Filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for company/firm

o Handling Income Tax notices, scrutiny assessments, and replies

o GST Compliance including:

§ GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation

§ Annual Return GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C

§ GST audits and departmental queries

o TDS Compliance includes:

§ TDS deductions as per Income Tax Act, 1961

§ Filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q)

§ Reconciliation with Form 26Q/26AS and issuance of TDS certificates

§ PF, ESIC, Gratuity, BOCW, Insurance Compliance

· Audit & CA Co-ordination:

o Handling Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and Internal Audit

o Single point of contact for Chartered Accountants and tax consulta
