We are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive new business acquisition, B2B field sales, and revenue growth within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in lead generation, client acquisition, field sales execution, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, prospect, and acquire recent B2B customers within the assigned territory.
- Generate qualified leads through field prospecting, networking, referrals, and market mapping.
- Conduct 4-5 client meetings daily to drive business opportunities and conversions.
- Deliver effective sales presentations, product demonstrations, and solution-based selling.
- Drive end-to-end sales activities from prospecting to closure and onboarding.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Account Acquisition & Market Expansion
- Develop new accounts and establish long-term business relationships.
- Expand market presence by identifying untapped business opportunities.
- Build a healthy sales funnel and maintain a robust pipeline to consistently achieve targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Client Management
- Ensure a superior customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain and manage prospect and customer databases effectively.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless onboarding and implementation.
- Coordinate with Accounts Receivable teams to support collections and payment adherence.
Sales Planning & Reporting
- Contribute towards territory growth strategies and sales planning.
- Track sales performance, customer interactions, and business opportunities through CRM tools.
- Participate in sales reviews, workshops, training sessions, and development programs.
