- Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, procurement) to define design requirements
- Perform design validation through simulations, tolerance analysis, and prototyping
- Create and maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, assembly instructions, and revision control
- Participate in design reviews, offering technical insights and improvements
- Support manufacturing and fabrication teams with design-related queries and updates
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
- Continuously improve existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability
