Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced STP / ETP Operator to operate and maintain sewage and effluent treatment plant systems in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and must be able to provide a valid experience certificate from their previous employer.
- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor STP/ETP plant equipment and machinery.
- Monitor pumps, motors, blowers, valves, tanks, and other treatment equipment.
- Check and maintain proper plant operating parameters.
- Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Monitor chemical dosing and treatment processes as required.
- Collect samples and monitor basic water-quality parameters.
- Maintain daily plant operation and maintenance records.
- Identify operational issues and report breakdowns to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper functioning of the treatment plant as per operational requirements.
- Follow all safety, environmental,
and company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around the treatment plant area.
- RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience as an STP/ETP Operator or in a similar wastewater treatment role.
- Relevant experience in operating and maintaining STP/ETP systems.
- Experience certificate is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and treatment processes.
- Ability to understand plant operating procedures and maintain records.
- Good observation and troubleshooting skills.
- Responsible and disciplined approach to work.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
