Job Description

We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and skilled Driver for our travel agency. The selected candidate must be capable of driving both commercial and private vehicles safely and efficiently.

The driver will be assigned duties according to the company’s booking schedule. Assignments may include local trips, airport transfers, corporate bookings, family trips, weddings, events, and outstation travel.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive commercial and private vehicles safely and responsibly.

* Perform day shifts, night shifts, local trips, and outstation duties as required.

* Remain available for assigned duties based on the company’s booking schedule.

* Pick up and drop off customers punctually at the designated locations.

* Follow traffic regulations and ensure passenger safety at all times.

* Maintain polite and professional behaviour with customers.

* Keep the vehicle clean, hygienic, and presentable.

* Conduct basic vehicle checks before every trip, including fuel, tyres, brakes, oil, lights, and documents.

* Maintain accurate trip records, kilometre readings, fuel expenses, toll receipts, and parking bills.

* Immediately report any accident, breakdown, damage, or mechanical issue to management.

* Take proper care of the vehicle, keys, documents, FASTag, and other company property.

* Avoid unauthorised trips or personal use of the company vehicle.





* Follow all company rules, duty schedules, and reporting procedures.

Candidate Requirements

* Valid driving licence; a commercial driving licence will be preferred/required where applicable.

* Valid badge and other necessary commercial driving documents, where required.

* Minimum 2–3 years of professional driving experience preferred.

* Good knowledge of Kolkata roads, nearby districts, airports, railway stations, hotels, and major routes.

* Experience in both local and outstation driving.

* Ability to use Google Maps, WhatsApp, and basic smartphone applications.

* Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.

* Physically fit, punctual, disciplined, honest, and responsible.

* No history of reckless driving, substance abuse, or serious traffic violations.

* Police verification and background verification may be required.

Salary and Incentives

* Competitive monthly salary based on experience and driving skills.

* Additional incentives may be provided for extra trips, night duties, outstation assignments, or good performance, as per company policy.

* Duty schedule and weekly off will be determined according to operational requirements.

Note: This position requires flexibility. Duty hours will depend on customer bookings and the company’s operational schedule. The driver must be ready to accept assigned duties responsibly and report on time.
