About the Role

We're looking for an experienced
AI Engineer

to join as the sole AI subject matter expert on a client team that has deep domain knowledge but is new to AI. This is not a ticket-execution role — you'll own the full lifecycle: understanding business problems directly from stakeholders, designing AI solutions and data architecture, building from the ground up, deploying to production, and driving the roadmap. In short, you'll be able to run the show on your own.

What You'll Work On

1. Conversational Document Intelligence

Build an interactive, conversational layer over a large corpus of flat files, PDFs, and Word documents — enabling users to ask natural-language questions and get grounded, accurate answers instead of manually reading through documents.

2. Custom AI-Native Master Data Management (MDM)

Design a custom, LLM-powered alternative to traditional enterprise MDM tools (e.g., IBM,



Informatica) — covering entity resolution, matching/deduplication, confidence scoring, and human-in-the-loop review workflows.

Must-Have Skills

AI & GenAI Engineering
- Experience building and deploying
production

RAG systems (not prototypes or portfolio projects)
- Agent architectures built ground-up using LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent
- Multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, memory management, and behavior planning
- Vector databases and retrieval design — chunking strategy, hybrid retrieval, reranking
- LLM guardrails, evaluation, and hallucination mitigation
- Awareness of current state-of-the-art, including open-source model options

Engineering Foundation
- Robust Python (primary build language)
- Strong SQL for data extraction, transformation, and profiling
- API design and backend development (FastAPI, Flask, or similar)
- Cloud deployment ex
