Job Summary
We are looking for a *Senior Engineer – IT Asset Management* with solid hands-on experience in *ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping*. The role will be responsible for supporting CMDB operations, maintaining accurate CI relationships, building and validating service maps, and ensuring CMDB data quality and alignment with CSDM standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Build, maintain, and support *ServiceNow Service Maps*.
* Manage CMDB data quality, CI relationships, reconciliation exceptions, and remediation activities.
* Validate service dependencies with service owners, application owners, and technical SMEs.
* Support *ServiceNow Discovery* operations and investigate discovery and service mapping issues.
* Maintain accurate CI relationships and dependency mappings.
* Perform service map reviews, certification,
and periodic validation activities.
* Identify and resolve CMDB data quality issues and mapping-related exceptions.
* Prepare operational reports and document exceptions.
* Support CMDB governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
* Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and ITSM teams to maintain accurate service visibility.

* 3+ years of hands-on *ServiceNow CMDB* experience.
* ServiceNow *Discovery*.
* ServiceNow *Service Mapping*.
* Strong understanding of *CSDM*.
* CI lifecycle management.
* CI relationship and dependency mapping.
* CMDB data quality and reconciliation.
* Experience working with infrastructure and applications.
* Exposure to cloud platforms and ITSM processes.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
