The Patient Calling Representative is responsible for contacting patients by phone to provide information, conduct follow-ups, and support patient communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic information about services, procedures, or next steps (within training guidelines)
Conduct follow-up calls after visits, treatments, or missed appointments
Update and verify patient contact information in the system
Document call outcomes accurately and professionally
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
Provide necessary details to patients regarding their balance/statements.
Use polite, empathetic, and skilled communication at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
Basic computer skills and ability to use scheduling or CRM systems
Professional phone etiquette and customer service mindset
Attention to detail and accurate data entry
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare, customer service, or call centers
Familiarity with medical terminology (a plus, not always required)
US shifts
Working Days: Monday to Friday
