About the Role

Assotech Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team in Bhubaneswar. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, accounting entries, reconciliations, billing, taxation support, and day-to-day accounting activities.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and financial documentation, preferably with experience in the real estate or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record and maintain sales, purchase, expense, receipt, and payment transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accounting vouchers and supporting documents.
- Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.




- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Maintain vendor, customer, and project-related accounts.
- Assist in preparation and verification of invoices, bills, and payment documents.
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related activities.
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns and reconciliation of GST data.
- Ensure timely deduction and accounting of TDS.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, and auditors as required.
- Assist in project-wise accounting and expense tracking.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for necessary actions.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate ledger maintenance.
