Key Responsibilities:
- Handle procurement of mechanical and electrical spares, including items related to compressors, pumps, HVAC, boilers, piping, hydraulics, and other plant utilities.
- Manage procurement of MRO consumables and maintenance-related items with a robust focus on mechanical categories.
- Monitor and maintain minmax inventory levels for critical mechanical/Electrical spares.
- Coordinate closely with the maintenance and utility teams for breakdown, preventive maintenance, shutdown planning, and emergency requirements.
- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies for mechanical and utility procurement.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and establish rate contracts/long-term agreements with suppliers.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking for mechanical spares such as bearings, gearboxes, pumps, valves, fabrication items, and utility equipment. And Electrical spares Annual rate contract executions in standardised brands.




- Identify and develop reliable vendors for indigenous and imported mechanical/electrical spares.
- Support localization/indigenization initiatives to reduce dependency on imports.
- Participate in supplier evaluation and audits in coordination with QA and maintenance teams.
- Ensure timely processing and closure of PRs, POs, GRNs, MRNs, payment issues, and debit notes.
- Maintain strict adherence to procurement SOPs, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
- Handle SAP transactions including PR/PO processing, vendor master management, and data accuracy.
- Track and manage AMCs, service contracts, and warranty claims for mechanical and utility equipment.

Contribute to cost optimization and reliability improvement projects.
