Job Summary:

We are looking for a Production Engineer with experience in EMS/PCBA manufacturing, responsible for managing day-to-day production activities across SMT and FATP lines, achieving production targets, maintaining quality, improving productivity and ensuring smooth line operations. SMILE has capabilities across PCB assembly, SMT, manual assembly, testing and box-build manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily SMT/FATP production activities and achieve shift-wise production targets.
- Monitor manpower, line balancing, cycle time, productivity and line utilization.
- Ensure production as per quality standards, SOPs, work instructions and customer requirements.
- Monitor SMT processes including Solder Paste Printing, Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI and PCB Assembly.
- Handle FATP assembly, testing and packing activities.




- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, downtime and process issues.
- Coordinate with Quality, Process Engineering, Maintenance, NPI and SCM teams.
- Drive RCA and corrective actions for production-related issues.
- Monitor FPY, rejection, rework, scrap, OEE and productivity.
- Ensure proper material availability, line clearance and changeover.

Candidate Profile:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or related.
- 3 to 6 years in EMS / Electronics / PCBA manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in SMT and/or FATP production preferred.
- Knowledge of line balancing, manpower planning, OEE, productivity and RCA.
