Key Responsibilities / Tasks / Activities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily QC activities, including inspections, testing, and audits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of products and materials to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct root cause analysis on quality incidents and implement preventative measures.
- Document and report quality findings and maintain accurate records.
- Train and educate operators on quality control processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to improve on time performance and quality of materials.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including work instructions and inspection reports.
- Perform thorough inspections, tests, and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and report any defects, non-conformities, or deviations from established specifications.
- Monitor and analyse product and process data to identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Support the maintenance and calibration of quality inspection equipment.
- Create and maintain necessary documentation for ease in retrieval.
Requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Experience in conducting inspections, tests, and audits.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
