Role & responsibilities
- Accounting & Reporting:
- Manage day-to-day plant accounting operations and general ledger.
- Finalize monthly, quarterly trial balance of the plants in the region and submit MIS to MD on monthly/quarterly basis.
- Handle cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for all the plants.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS while doing transactions.
- Taxation & Compliance:
- Manage GST, TDS, TCS, and corporate tax filings for the Plant.
- Superwise the team handling state electricity regulatory compliance and local levies.
- Manage GST audits, assessments, and litigations with tax authorities.
- Ensure timely payment and filing of all statutory dues.
- SAP Management:
- Oversee SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) operations.




- Implement and improve MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution) integrations.
- Troubleshoot financial workflow issues within the SAP system.
- Audit & Control:
- Coordinate internal, statutory, and cost audits for the plant.
- Maintain robust internal financial controls and risk management.

Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience.
- Preferably, at least 3 years working in a thermal power plant or Coal Washery Industry / Sponge Iron Plant / Manufacturing Industries / Process Industries.
