To drive GeTDis business growth by developing and managing relationships with Government Utilities, Electricity Boards, DISCOMs, State Utilities and other public-sector power organizations. The role will focus on front-end sales, customer engagement, business development and identifying current opportunities within the government and utility segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Government & Utility Sales: Drive front-end sales with Government and Utility customers, including Electricity Boards, DISCOMs, State Utilities, Power Distribution Companies and other public-sector organizations.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within Electricity Boards, DISCOMs, Utilities and other Government organizations through regular meetings, site visits and business discussions.
- Business Development: Identify new projects, upcoming requirements, tenders and sales opportunities within the Government and Utility segment and convert them into business opportunities.
- Customer Meetings & Presentations: Independently conduct customer meetings, product presentations and business discussions with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Tender & Commercial Understanding: Have a strong working knowledge of the complete Bidding Process including tender specifications, eligibility criteria, technical and commercial requirements, pricing, bid strategy and submission timelines. The candidate should be able to effectively review and guide tender and quotation activities, coordinate with internal teams and drive the process towards successful business conversion.
