KPMG India is seeking talented professionals to join its Risk Consulting practice in the area of AI Governance and Responsible AI. This role is focused on helping organizations assess AI-related risks, strengthen governance frameworks, evaluate controls, and support compliance with emerging AI regulations and standards.

This opportunity is ideal for AI/ML, Generative AI, NLP, and LLM professionals interested in expanding their careers into AI Governance, Risk, Compliance, Controls, and Responsible AI.

Note: This is not a pure software development role.

Key Responsibilities
- Support AI Governance and Responsible AI engagements for global clients.
- Conduct AI risk assessments and evaluate governance and control frameworks.
- Review AI/ML and GenAI use cases for fairness, explainability, accountability, transparency, and compliance.
- Assess risks associated with LLMs, RAG applications, Agentic AI systems, and Machine Learning models.
- Perform AI control testing, governance reviews, and assurance activities.




- Assist in designing and implementing AI governance frameworks and policies.
- Support AI audit and compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with technology, business, legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations to mitigate AI-related risks.
- Stay updated on evolving AI regulations, industry standards, and Responsible AI practices.

Required Skills
- 3 to 11 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, NLP, Machine Learning, or Generative AI.
- Robust knowledge of:
- Python

- LangChain
- LangGraph
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- OpenAI / Azure OpenAI
- Understanding of AI risks such as:
