The Regional Manager Operations is the primary on-ground operational leader responsible for the performance, compliance and client satisfaction across all assigned O&M; sites within the region. The role demands solid field presence, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multi-site teams through Service Delivery Managers while supporting the Cluster Head in achieving regional financial and strategic objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Site Operations & Compliance
The Regional Manager oversees end-to-end O&M; activities across all assigned railway sidings and terminals, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, preventive maintenance schedules, and statutory requirements. The role demands active monitoring of daily site operations to maintain reliability, service continuity, and asset performance, with immediate on-ground support provided for any operational or technical issues in consultation with the Cluster Head.
Field Presence & Reviews
The role requires frequent travel to all assigned sites for operational reviews, audits, manpower assessments, and client meetings.
The Regional Manager conducts surprise inspections to verify discipline, reporting accuracy, and compliance, and submits structured visit reports to the Cluster Head following each review.
Billing & Revenue
The Regional Manager ensures accurate preparation and timely submission of client invoices with complete supporting documentation. The role also carries responsibility for proactively identifying opportunities for special or additional works that contribute to site-level and regional revenue growth, coordinating with the Cluster Head for pursuit and closure.
Digitization & Reporting
Full and disciplined usage of LARK DPR and LARK PMS systems is a non-negotiable expectation across all sites. The Regional Manager monitors data accuracy, daily reporting compliance, and KPI tracking through the SDMs/PMs to ensure management visibility and decision-making quality.
