Role & responsibilities
- Handle procurement of mechanical equipment, packages, and project materials.
- Float RFQs, evaluate techno-commercial offers and negotiate with vendors.
- Identify, develop, and manage domestic/international suppliers.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Quality and Finance teams for vendor finalization.
- Procure pumps, compressors, HVAC, piping, tanks, pressure vessels, utility equipment, material handling systems, and other mechanical packages.
- Manage PO placement, vendor follow-up, inspection, and timely delivery.
- Drive cost optimization, alternate vendor development, and supplier performance.
- Maintain procurement MIS and ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications.

Preferred candidate profile
- B. Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 410 years of experience in Mechanical / Project Procurement.
- Experience in Solar, Ingot/Wafer, Semiconductor, or large-scale manufacturing projects preferred.
- Solid negotiation, vendor management, and techno-commercial evaluation skills.
