The Drone Pilot is responsible for operating UAVs safely and efficiently for agriculture, surveying, inspection, mapping, surveillance, and other commercial applications. The role ensures compliance with DGCA regulations while delivering high-quality flight operations and accurate data collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate drones for agricultural spraying, surveying, mapping, inspections, and monitoring.
- Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections.
- Prepare flight plans and obtain necessary permissions.
- Ensure protected operation in accordance with DGCA guidelines.
- Capture high-quality aerial imagery and survey data.
- Coordinate with clients and project teams during field operations.
- Maintain flight logs and mission reports.
- Perform basic drone maintenance and identify technical issues.
- Ensure safety of personnel, equipment, and surrounding environment.
- Travel extensively to project locations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in any discipline (Engineering preferred).
- DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) from an authorized RPTO.
- Valid Drone Pilot License.
Experience
- 1–5 years in commercial drone operations.
- Experience in agricultural drones, mapping, or industrial inspections preferred.
