Role Description
The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose vision problems, and prescribe corrective lenses and treatments to support optimal eye health for patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting refractions, assessing ocular health, advising on contact lenses and spectacles, and educating patients on preventive eye care and treatment plans. The Optometrist will collaborate with other clinical staff, maintain accurate patient records, and follow all clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines.



This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring consistent in-person interaction with patients and the care team.

Qualifications
- Professional qualification in Optometry (Bachelor’s or Diploma in Optometry) from a recognized institution; valid registration or license as applicable.
- Strong clinical skills in refraction, contact lens fitting, basic binocular vision assessment, and ocular health screening.
- Ability to interpret diagnostic test results (such as fundus examinations, tonometry, and visual field screenings) and make evidence-based clinical decisions.
- Excellent patient-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain conditions, treatments, and preventive care clearly and respectfully.
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills for maintaining medical records and prescriptions.
