We are looking for a dedicated
Safety Engineer
to ensure safe execution of our solar power projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards at project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor
Health, Safety & Setting (HSE)
policies at solar project sites
- Conduct
risk assessments, hazard identification
, and safety audits
- Ensure compliance with
electrical safety standards and statutory regulations
- Supervise safe installation of solar panels, structures, and electrical systems
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness sessions
- Ensure proper usage of PPE
by all workers and staff
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports with corrective actions
- Maintain safety records, documentation, and reports
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers for safety compliance
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of
solar EPC projects and construction safety
- Understanding of electrical safety, working at heights, and site hazards
- Familiarity with IS standards, OSHA guidelines, and HSE practices
- Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills
Qualifications:
- B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Safety Engineering
- Certification in Industrial Safety (NEBOSH/IOSH preferred)
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in
solar / infrastructure / construction projects
