- Fleet management scope:
- No of vehicles : 250 trucks
- Type Bulk and packed, Rigid and semi trailer
- No of transporter 12
- Business- LPG, Lubes & SFL.
- Support implementation and maintain PATROM norms (road safety norms) at lubricant and SFL transportation of heavy goods vehicles.
- Various transport audit coordination for the company and transporter followed by gap analysis, and action plan monitoring.
- Support as transport safety manager in establishing the PATROM worthy fleet with timely completion of induction, vetting and safety checks as per business needs
- Conduct periodic/surprise vehicle inspections and participate in accident/incident investigations and RCA.
- Drive zero-accident culture across fleet operations
- Coordinate for policy deployment and system harmonization across all vendor bases (transportation and other vendors)
- Ensure routine up-keep and regular maintenance of company deployed safety equipment (OBC, IVMS, TX Trailer, etc).
- KIP monitoring
Activities:
1. Fleet Management:
Manage vehicle induction, acceptance, and commissioning process.
Monitor fleet roadworthiness, vehicle compliance, and statutory certifications.
Conduct vehicle vetting and Secure-to-Load compliance checks.
Maintain and communicate approved vehicle lists.
Ensure fleet availability to meet operational requirements.
2. Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with PATROM, company standards, and local regulations.
Conduct periodic and surprise vehicle inspections.
Participate in accident/incident investigations and RCA.
Implement corrective and preventive actions.
Drive zero-accident culture across fleet operations.
3. Transporter Management:
Coordinate with transporters on fleet compliance and performance.
Conduct transporter reviews and improvement meetings.
Validate adherence to vehicle maintenance and inspection schedules.
Support transporter audits and action-plan closure.
