As a key member of the Branding & Communication team, the PR & Media Communications Skilled will lead FLAME University's media and public relations strategy, strengthening the University's reputation as a pioneering institution in interdisciplinary education, research, and thought leadership. The role will be responsible for developing compelling narratives, building strategic media relationships, and positioning FLAME and its leadership at the forefront of national conversations on higher education, research, innovation, AI, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and public policy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead FLAME University's annual PR and media communications strategy, aligning it with institutional priorities and long-term brand objectives.
- Build and establish the PR function as a strategic driver of institutional reputation, thought leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
- Partner with academic leaders, faculty, research centre heads, deans,



and senior leadership to identify and develop compelling stories that showcase FLAME's thought leadership, academic excellence, research impact, and institutional milestones in the media.
- Work with the PR agency to position FLAME's leadership, faculty, and subject matter experts as leading voices across national and international media through interviews, opinion pieces, editorial contributions, and speaking opportunities.
- Strategically brief, manage and mentor the University's PR agency, ensuring proactive media outreach, impactful storytelling, and measurable outcomes across Tier-1 national and international publications.
- Plan and lead high-impact media events and journalist engagement programs that foster meaningful relationships with the media while showcasing FLAME's academic excellence, research, and institutional leadership.
