Role ObjectiveWe are looking for a Vendor Development & Operations Manager to build and manage PROINFRA’s vendor network for Painting and Deep Cleaning services.

The person will be responsible for identifying reliable vendors, onboarding them, training their teams on PROINFRA standards, allocating projects, monitoring execution quality and productivity, and continuously improving vendor performance.

- Key Responsibilities1. Vendor Sourcing & OnboardingIdentify and develop reliable painting and deep-cleaning contractors across Bengaluru.
- Evaluate vendors based on manpower, experience, equipment, capacity, quality and pricing.
- Conduct vendor verification and documentation.
- Negotiate commercial rates and payment terms.
- Build a strong backup vendor pool for peak demand and urgent projects.
- 2. Vendor Training & DevelopmentTrain vendors on PROINFRA’s:
- SOPs and work processes
- Quality standards
- Safety requirements
- Material handling
- Productivity expectations
- Customer service standards
- Site reporting and documentation
- Conduct regular toolbox training and performance reviews.
- Develop vendors from basic contractors into PROINFRA-approved service partners.
- 3. Project Deployment & CoordinationAllocate projects to suitable vendors based on location, capability, manpower and project requirements.
- Ensure vendors mobilize manpower and equipment within committed timelines.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Site Supervisors and Customers.
- Resolve manpower, material, productivity and execution issues.
- 4. Quality & Productivity ControlMonitor vendor performance against agreed KPIs.
- Ensure painting and deep-cleaning work meets PROINFRA quality standards.
- Track:
- Productivity per manpower
- Completion timelines
- Rework percentage
- Customer complaints
- Attendance/manpower availability
- Material consumption
- Project profitability




- Take corrective action against underperforming vendors.
- 5. Commercial & Cost ManagementMaintain approved vendor rate cards.
- Benchmark vendor pricing with market rates.
- Negotiate project-wise rates while protecting PROINFRA margins.
- Monitor variations, additional work and vendor claims.
- Support Operations in maintaining project profitability.
- 6. Vendor Performance ManagementCreate vendor scorecards and monthly performance ratings.
- Categorize vendors as A/B/C based on performance.
- Develop high-performing vendors and replace consistently poor performers.
- Maintain an active pool of backup vendors.

- Ideal Candidate3–7 years of experience in facility management, painting, construction, deep cleaning, home services, interior works or vendor management.
- Strong understanding of contractor/vendor networks in Bengaluru.
- Good knowledge of painting and/or skilled cleaning operations.
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship-management skills.
- Comfortable working on sites and travelling across Bengaluru.
- Good communication and team-coordination skills.
- Ability to train blue-collar/vendor teams effectively.
- Strong commercial understanding and basic Excel/CRM skills.
