Key Responsibilities during Training/Placement:

• Assist in production planning, machine allocation, and daily production tracking against the plan.

• Work with shift supervisors and CNC/VMC operators to monitor cycle times, tooling changes, and machine utilization.

• Support root-cause analysis and corrective action for production rejections/rework.

• Maintain production logs, shift reports, and material consumption records.

• Assist in implementing 5S, lean manufacturing, and process improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Department-specific Preference:

• Preference for Mechanical Engineering graduates with academic exposure to manufacturing processes, machining, or production engineering.

2. Design & Engineering (R&D;)

Support the design and engineering team in developing and refining downhole tool designs, technical drawings, and product specifications.

Key Responsibilities during Training/Placement:

• Assist in preparing and revising 2D/3D drawings using SOLIDWORKS software under supervision of senior design engineers.

• Assist with technical documentation for new product development and API-compliant design records.

• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve design-related queries during manufacturing.

• Support prototype testing and design-improvement documentation.

Department-specific Preference:

• Preference for candidates with working knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and strong fundamentals in mechanical design, tolerances (GD&T;), and materials.

3. Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)

Support the quality function in ensuring all manufactured components and finished equipments meet API and customer-specific quality standards.

Key Responsibilities during Training/Placement:

• Assist with incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components using standard measuring instruments (

• Support preparation and maintenance of quality documentation — inspection reports, calibration records, non-conformance reports (NCRs).

• Assist in root-cause analysis for quality deviations and support corrective/preventive action (CAPA) implementation.

• Support internal audits and preparation for API/ISO surveillance/certification audits.

• Coordinate with production for quality holds, rework dispositions, and first-article inspections.

Department-specific Preference:

• Preference for candidates with academic exposure to quality engineering, metrology, GD&T;, or API/ISO quality management systems.

4. Supply Chain & Procurement

• Support documentation for import/export and statutory compliance related to procurement, where applicable.

• Coordinate with production and planning teams to ensure timely material availability for the production schedule.

Department-specific Preference:

• Open to Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering graduates with an interest in supply chain, sourcing, and vendor management; prior internship exposure to SCM/procurement is an added advantage.

Common

Requirements – All Departments

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university.

• Solid fundamentals in engineering drawing, materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical/petroleum engineering core subjects.

• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to SOLIDWORKS and other software is an advantage for Design & Engineering applicants.

• Willingness to work on the shop floor and engage directly with manufacturing operations as part of the training program, irrespective of eventual department placement.

• Good communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Willingness to relocate to / commute to Khopoli, Raigad, Maharashtra, and to work in a full-time, on-site role.
