Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Tamil Teacher to join our CBSE school. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Tamil lessons, developing students' language and literary skills, and creating a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment.

The teacher should have a strong command of Tamil language, grammar, literature, reading, writing, and communication skills, along with the ability to use cutting-edge and activity-based teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, question papers, and teaching-learning materials.
- Develop students' skills in Tamil reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
- Teach Tamil language and literature using age-appropriate and engaging methodologies.
- Use storytelling, poetry, role play, discussions, activities, games, and other experiential learning techniques.
- Encourage students to develop an appreciation for Tamil language, literature, culture, history,



and heritage.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial teaching and individual support.
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance, attendance, and progress.
- Use digital resources and smart-classroom technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Maintain an engaging, disciplined, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Participate in school assemblies, cultural programmes, competitions, celebrations, clubs, and other co-curricular activities.
- Encourage students to participate in Tamil-related activities such as elocution, essay writing, poetry, storytelling, debates, and literary competitions.
- Communicate students' academic progress and areas of improvement to parents when required.
