Job Description:
- Handle Direct Purchase of Raw Materials, Bought-out Parts, Tools and other production-related materials.
- Manage Subcontracting activities and ensure timely material availability.
- Drive Inventory Control & Management to maintain optimum stock levels.
- Handle Vendor Development, vendor evaluation and supplier relationship management.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely material availability as per the production plan.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality and other functions for material planning and procurement.
- Should have positive knowledge of Machining Processes and Machined Components/Products.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and supplier performance.
