Qualification: ITI – Fitter
Experience: 2–5 years preferred, preferably in a chemical/process manufacturing plant
Department: Maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out mechanical maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Attend breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance.
- Maintenance of pumps, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, agitators, compressors, etc.
- Assist in equipment installation, alignment, and commissioning.
- Perform fabrication, fitting, cutting, grinding, and assembly work as required.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with the production team during maintenance activities.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Basic understanding of piping and mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
- Experience working in a chemical/process plant will be an advantage.
- Positive awareness of industrial safety practices.
Suitable profile: ITI Fitter with hands-on experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, fertilizer, or other process manufacturing plants.
