Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine financial records, reports, and statements.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations, timely payments, and return filings as per statutory requirements.
- File tax returns and assist with audits and financial reviews.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and cost control.
- Maintain documentation and financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience (1+ years preferred) in accounting or a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus (not mandatory unless specified)
