R&D; Engineer

Function: Research & Development – Electronics / Power Electronics

Location: Kandivali West, Mumbai

Reports to: R&D; Manager / Head of Engineering

Role Summary

Own the design and development of automotive electronic products — from microcontroller-based hardware and embedded firmware to CAN/LIN networked ECUs — and drive them from concept to production release in an IATF 16949 workplace.

Qualification

BE / MTech in Electronics or Power Electronics.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of strong experience in automotive electronics, hardware design, embedded microcontroller design, CAN-based communication, EV architecture, and ECU development. Proven track record of cross-platform development from concept to production release.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware design, microcontrollers, embedded firmware,



and CAN/LIN communications.

Schematic and PCB design.

Apply IATF 16949 knowledge across the development lifecycle.

Work with electronic test equipment, diagnostics, and ATE.

Handle regulatory compliance certifications and Global Market Access (GMA) requirements for embedded electronic products.

Preferred Skills

Experience with EV subsystems (OBC, DC-DC, VCU) an advantage.

Familiarity with functional safety and EMC/EMI compliance.

Version control and structured firmware development practices.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
