Job Summary

WWF-India, one of the largest conservation organizations engaged in wildlife and nature conservation in the country, invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager - Communications. We are looking to recruit for an exciting position within WWF-India Marketing and Communications team, working directly with all departments within the organization. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing, communication and interpersonal skills. Location: Current Delhi (fulltime, onsite).

Responsibilities
- Writing and editing stories/articles for print collaterals like newsletters, annual reports etc.
- Creating content for digital communication channels platforms (websites, social media, emailers, fundraising etc.)
- Generating and pitching ideas for fresh content
- Thorough scientific research on conservation topics and interpreting internal field reports into easily digestible content for external audiences
- Travelling to the field offices of WWF-India across India and conducting on-field interviews wherever necessary




- Audio and visual content creation on field trips
- Storyboarding experience; understanding the effectiveness and appropriateness of story assets (text, images, audio, video) and how to combine them
- Visual, audio and video content creation experience; well-developed eye/ear for best practices in each
- Incorporate and balance objectives of all departments to oversee production of strategic, compelling stories
- Collaborate with programme, state and field teams to coordinate and oversee the story collection, production and distribution process
- Crafting editorial calendars and in re-purposing stories across platforms
- Inviting other bloggers, experts, or other notable guests to contribute content to the website

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in English/Marketing/Creative Writing / Journalism / Communications (or a related field)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant writing, storytelling, and content-creation across print a
