Job Overview: The ostomy care nurse will be responsible for providing expert care and education, the patients who have undergone ostomy surgery. This role involves assisting patients in managing their stoma and ostomy pouch. We train our healthcare team and educate patients and their families to ensure optimal colostomy care and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, home healthcare agencies,



and specialized wound care centres to provide effective ostomy care support.

● Identify potential retailers, sub dealers and ensure stocks to be available.

● Identify, generate, and follow up on new patient leads received post-surgery from healthcare institutions.

● Achieve sales targets along with the number of leads to be generated.

● Educate patients and caregivers on ostomy management, stoma care, and the appropriate use of available pouching systems.

● Train patients on proper hygiene practices, pouch replacement procedures, and skin care management around the stoma.

● Assess individual body profiles to ensure correct fitting and optimal performance of ostomy pouching systems, minimizing leakage and discomfort.

● Monitor stoma health and support proper healing of the wound site through continuous care and follow-up.
