Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their requirements and conceptualize designs accordingly
- Be the point of contact with key clients and resolve escalations by collaborating effectively with stakeholders
- Inspire, coach, develop and mentor team members in the design studio
- Coordinate with project managers at site through team to ensure execution is as per standards and desired design
Skills
- Outstanding graphic presentation skills and the ability to communicate design ideas effectively
- Strong Auto cad and knowledge of Adobe Suites, Revit, Sketch-Up and/or 3-D Studio Max
- Flexibility to focus on a large client account with a variety of project types -or- multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development
- Knowledge of life safety codes and requirements
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture / Interior Design or related field
- 7+ years of related experience as an interior designer with a robust background in workspace design and corporate interiors
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of the design process, workplace strategy, design documentation, implementation and FFE
- Knowledge of life safety codes and requirements.
- Quality and excellence in design, management and technical ability
- Client facing ability with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Energy, drive and total commitment to our people and projects
- Knowledge of the client s business and ability to build and sustain client relationships
