Job Profile:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager for our Development & Partnerships (Fundraising) team. This individual will be responsible for leading and executing fundraising strategies that support the organization’s mission and growth. The Senior Manager will play a key role in identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with donors, partners, and other stakeholders.

This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for advancing the organization's cause.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Research and pursue funding opportunities from bilateral and multilateral agencies, foundations, and government grants.

2. Develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy aligned with organizational priorities in climate action, health, education, and community development.

3. Lead the development of compelling funding proposals and grant applications, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and compliance requirements.

4. Strategy Development:



Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive fundraising strategies, targeting individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations.

5. Donor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors. Ensure timely communication and follow-up to retain and grow contributions.

6. Campaign Management: Plan and manage fundraising campaigns, including setting explicit objectives, developing messaging, and tracking progress toward goals.

7. Grant Writing and Reporting: Lead efforts in securing grants from foundations and government bodies. Oversee grant writing and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

8. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Provide guidance and mentorship to the fundraising team. Collaborate closely with other departments to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
