- As a Product Manager the role holder will be responsible for managing the development and roll-out of new products and/or additional features and capabilities in existing and recent products for Network Services (WAN) Technology.
- The PM works closely with key customers, product architects and project delivery and support to develop and manage new product releases and upgrades to customer’s.
- The PM maintains the product road map, creates concept documents, business and use cases for new services, features and functions to support customer demands, growth strategies and profitability targets8 Regular connect with Networks resources to address their queries/concerns, work as a transparent lead and maintain positive energy to team.
- Understand customer needs and validate solutions, serve as primary product expert
- Lead product design, development and release process for assigned products and maintain the product development road map
- Drive product development with internal teams and external vendors - Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses
- Create detailed use cases, business requirements - Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects
- Manage “differentiated” external technology vendors and internal developers to stand up ‘proof-of-concepts’ for these technologies and demonstrate their value to the business, following an agile methodology of refining or pivoting on initial ideas
- Engage with multiple stakeholders to build the specification of new technologies
