Role & responsibilities
- Develop and review piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings using 3D modeling software (e.g., PDMS, E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, SmartPlant).
- Prepare and review material take-offs (MTOs), bill of materials (BOMs), and piping specifications.
- Supports piping engineering needs across the organisation
- Individual contributor-performs routine work individually and undertakes complex problems or issues with guidance of a senior engineer.
- Conducts detailed technical evaluation to address issues with Piping and system design, operation and maintenance.
- Reviews project and contract deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications. Design practices and piping best practices.
- Documents to be reviewed may include Piping and Instrument Designs, piping arrangements, piping material specifications, stress analysis reports, data sheets, vendor proposals, and technical studies.
- Participates in design reviews, risk assessment, HAZOPs, vendor qualifications, and vendor bid evaluations as requested.




- Supports functional initiatives and maintains discipline documentation.
- Proactively and continuously grows technical expertise in pertinent technologies.
- Coordinate with Assurance Engineers based in the UK to align on quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Support cost estimation activities by providing accurate input on piping quantities, material specifications, and design complexity.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to validate piping MTOs and identify cost drivers during FEED and EPC phases.
- Contribute to value engineering and cost optimization initiatives through design efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in piping design within EPC, engineering consultancy, or client organizations.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling tools (e.g., PDMS, E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, SmartPlant).
