Role & responsibilities :
- Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software.
- Prepare manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings.
- Develop detailed part drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and shop-floor documentation.
- Review engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations to prepare accurate drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams regarding design changes.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control records.
- Support product development and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare layout drawings, structural drawings, and equipment drawings as required.




- Assist in resolving manufacturing and assembly issues related to drawings.
- Archive and update drawing databases and technical records.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Design Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of drafting experience in a manufacturing workplace.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, CATIA, etc.).
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, sheet metal, welding, and assembly practices.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
