Job Description- Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at iT1, your main responsibility will be to contact clients and collect missed and outstanding payments. We are expecting you to be professional, and trustworthy and to be able to work independently.

Essential Functions:
- Managing the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable
- Documenting daily collection activity
- Researching account disputes and billing discrepancies
- Post daily deposits/cash receipts to the appropriate customer accounts
- Communicate with customers regarding billing discrepancies and questions
- Process credit card transactions and maintain auto pay customers
- Research and resolve sales tax issues
- Upload invoices into customers AP portals
- Other accounting duties as assigned

Job Qualification Requirements:
- 5 years previous relevant B2B Accounts Receivable experience
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Salesforce,



Avalara required
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Experience with US sales tax preferred
- Strong computer skills

Other Skill/Abilities:
- Ability to coordinate with sales department and customers to create effective working relationships
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, well organized and detail oriented
- MS Excel - Advanced
- Strong Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Able to proactively utilize resources for completions of work

Physical Demands
- Sit at a computer for 8 hours per day
- Keyboarding for 8 hours per day
- Near Vision (working with small objects or reading small print)
- Speaking (communicating information to clients/coworkers)
- Hearing Requirements (In person speech, telephone, other sounds)
