9AP Energy Ambit Transmission Products Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a BESS Application Engineer with experience in lithium-ion batteries and energy-storage systems. The role will be responsible for developing BESS solutions, battery sizing, system integration, technical proposals, and project execution support.

The candidate will work closely with Sales, Product Development, Engineering, and Project teams to develop technically suitable energy-storage solutions for customer and project requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
- Design and configure Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) based on customer and project requirements.
- Perform battery sizing, load analysis, energy calculations, and system configuration.
- Work on integration of Lithium-ion batteries, BMS, EMS, PCS, and inverters.
- Prepare technical proposals, system specifications, BOMs, datasheets, and technical documentation.
- Analyse customer requirements and recommend suitable BESS solutions.
- Support BESS project execution, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.




- Provide technical support to the sales team during customer meetings and pre-sales activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, sales, and project teams for successful project execution.
- Support current product development and optimisation based on market and customer requirements.
- Analyse BESS performance and identify opportunities for system improvement.
- Stay updated with developments in battery technology, renewable energy, BESS, and energy-management systems.

Preferred Skills
- Battery data analytics and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of AI/ML-based energy forecasting.
- Understanding of predictive maintenance for battery systems.
- Knowledge of solar PV and renewable-energy integration with BESS.
- Familiarity with CAN, RS485, Modbus and other battery communication protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, Energy Systems, or a related engineering disci
