Qualification
The post of Regional Sales Manager is open to all Graduates / Post Graduates. However, Science Graduates are preferred. Graduation / Post Graduation in the following subjects may increase the chances of greater success in the career:
- Graduates in Biology
- Graduates in Pharmacy
- Graduates in Botany
A business or marketing degree can be particularly useful and is considered as an added advantage. Graduation / Post Graduation in Life science or Healthcare subjects is also considered as helpful for the job.
Graduation/Post Graduation in business management especially in marketing is highly preferable for Regional Sales Manager position.
Work Experience
Minimum two - three years of work experience as Regional Sales Manager in pharmaceutical industry is required for the post of Regional Sales Manager. Work experience, as Regional Sales Manager in Ayurveda Company, handling minimum three ASMs with a team of minimum 15 Medical Sales Representatives / Executives is required for the post.
Proven track record of sales target achievement and continuous business growth, as well as organized and structured working approach will be considered for the position.
Location
The preferred headquarter of the Regional Sales Manager is Mumbai, which is well connected to all the territories of his operation. Persons from cities like Pune, Nagpur etc., also can be considered. Since the job involves regular travel, the person should possess sound knowledge of the geographical area.
