JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES MANAGER

Position: Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving the hotel's revenue through corporate sales, business development, client relationship management, group bookings, and new account acquisition. The role requires developing strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other business partners to achieve the hotel's sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify and acquire new corporate accounts and business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients and ensure repeat business.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations, and business meetings.
- Generate leads for room sales, conferences, banquets, meetings, and other hotel services.
- Handle corporate, group, MICE, and long-stay business enquiries.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Reservations,



F&B;, and Banquet teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts, and negotiate commercial terms with clients.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing.
- Maintain an updated database of corporate clients, travel agents, and key accounts.
- Follow up on pending enquiries and convert leads into confirmed business.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and submit them to management.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from clients in coordination with the Accounts Department.
- Participate in sales promotions, exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.
- Maintain qualified relationships with travel agents, OTA partners, corporates, and local businesses.
- Ensure all sales activities are conducted according to hotel policies and standards.
