Accountant – CA FirmJob Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, with the ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting activities and support audits and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial entries.
- Maintain ledgers, journals, vouchers, and financial records.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and other accounting reports.
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, vendor payments, and client transactions.
- Assist in tax audits, statutory audits, internal audits, and assessments.
- Prepare and maintain working papers and supporting documents for audits and tax filings.
- Coordinate with clients for required documents, information, and clarifications.
- Assist in income tax returns, tax computation,



and related compliance work.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and compliance activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of client and firm financial information.
- Stay updated with changes in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulations.

Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a CA firm, accounting firm, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Experience with Tally and MS Excel.
- Positive understanding of reconciliations, financial statements, and audit procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple clients/tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CA or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience working in a Chartere
