About the Role

EY is looking for professionals with experience in Transaction Monitoring and KYC processes to support financial crime compliance operations. The role involves reviewing transactions, conducting customer due diligence activities, identifying potential risks, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and investigate transaction monitoring alerts to identify unusual or suspicious activities.
- Perform KYC reviews, customer onboarding checks, periodic reviews, and remediation activities.
- Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) assessments where required.
- Analyze customer profiles, transactional behavior, and supporting documentation.
- Escalate potential AML, sanctions, fraud, or compliance concerns in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, findings, and decisions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements,



internal policies, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and complete case reviews within agreed timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Transaction Monitoring, KYC, AML, CDD, EDD, or Financial Crime Compliance.
- Solid analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of AML/KYC regulations and risk assessment processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Profile
- Candidates with hands-on experience in Transaction Monitoring along with exposure to KYC processes will be preferred.
- Experience working in banking, financial institutions, compliance operations, or shared service environments.
