Roles and Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with shipping lines, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance of goods through customs.
- Manage import/export operations, including preparing documents such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Ensure compliance with regulations related to international trade agreements, tariffs, and duties.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise during the logistics process.
Job Requirements :
- 5-14 years of experience in logistics or a related field (import/export).
- Robust knowledge of CHA (Customs House Agent) procedures and practices.
- Proficiency in freight forwarding software systems (e.g., SAP) is an asset.
