Job Summary

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations, accounting compliance, governance, payroll validation, taxation, and reporting activities of Hatch India. Leveraging strong technical accounting and taxation expertise, the incumbent will provide support to the Regional Finance Director, Country Director, and broader Finance team while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

The role requires a proactive qualified who can manage financial reporting, statutory audits, payroll oversight, tax compliance, and process improvements while maintaining high levels of accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including: Statement of Financial Position; Statement of Profit and Loss; Cash Flow Statements.
- Summarize and report on the financial status of Hatch India.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounting transactions.




- Review and approve general ledger reconciliations.
- Analyze financial information and investigate variances.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies through detailed analysis and corrective action.
- Support and coordinate month-end and year-end close activities.
- Lead the annual statutory audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Substantiate financial transactions through review and audit of supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain and strengthen accounting controls by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Develop, document, and improve financial processes and accounting policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial and compliance risks.
