Vision Centre Optometrist/ Refractionist

Clinical Responsibilities:

Identification of treatable eye condition/disease

Eye care management:

a. Primary management at site: Detection of basic eye condition and basic advice

b. Teleconsultion with consultants at the base hospital for all patients

c. Referral for further management at base hospital or camp

d. First Aid management and referral

Prescription and dispensing of spectacles

Review of Postoperative patients

Maintaining patient details in MOCDOC

Coordinate with various department at base hospital:

Outreach administrator at base hospital

Account department for settling of daily cash

Information Systems Bio medical Department for any technological issues

Administrative Responsibilities:

Registration History taking

Stock maintenance and raising of requirement with the Outreach Administrator at the base hospital

Statistics collation and reporting to Outreach administrator at base hospital
