Job OverviewWe are looking for a Miscellaneous Purchase Executive responsible for managing the procurement of non-production and miscellaneous items required for smooth day-to-day business operations. The candidate will handle vendor sourcing, quotation comparison, purchase orders, follow-ups, and timely material availability.
- Key ResponsibilitiesHandle procurement of miscellaneous, general and operational items as per company requirements.
- Source current vendors and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
- Collect and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate price, quality, credit terms and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Stores, Accounts, Admin, Maintenance and other departments for purchase requirements.
- Verify material specifications, quantity and quality before/after delivery.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations and comparative statements.
- Monitor pending orders and ensure timely closure.
- Support cost reduction through effective vendor negotiation and alternative sourcing.
- Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, delivery,
billing and shortages.
- Ensure procurement is done as per company policies and approved budgets.
- Maintain proper documentation for all purchases.
