Position Overview

DoctorC is seeking an M.Sc. Biochemistry graduate for the role of Scientific Officer. You will be

primarily responsible for test result verification, interpretation, and medical reporting in our

Biochemistry department, ensuring high clinical accuracy and quick turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities

● Reporting & Authorization: Review, validate, and release routine and specialized

biochemistry test reports. Correlate unexpected values with patient history and notify

clinicians of critical alerts promptly.

● Quality Control: Monitor daily Internal Quality Control (IQC), analyze Westgard rules,

evaluate EQAS results,



and implement corrective actions (CAPA).

● Automation & Operations: Supervise automated biochemistry analyzers, perform

calibration verifications, and assist with equipment maintenance.

● Lab Governance: Ensure strict adherence to NABL/CAP quality standards, maintain

logs, and support audit readiness.

Key Requirements

● Education: M.Sc. in Biochemistry from a recognized university.

● Experience: 1-3 years in a diagnostic lab handling result validation, IQC, and automated

biochemistry analyzers (e.g., Roche, Abbott, Beckman Coulter).

● Skills: Strong analytical thinking, familiarity with LIMS, and knowledge of NABL

guidelines.
