Scope of Work

The ITI Fresher – Electrician & Maintenance shall be responsible for assisting the maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and plant equipment. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Electrical Maintenance

- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Support the installation, wiring, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Inspect electrical panels, motors, pumps, switches, and lighting systems.
- Replace defective electrical components such as switches, MCBs, relays, contactors, and fuses.

Equipment Maintenance

- Assist in the maintenance of motors, pumps, conveyors, blowers, Gear Box and other plant machinery.
- Carry out routine inspection and cleaning of equipment.
- Report any abnormal conditions or equipment failures immediately to the supervisor.

Safety & Compliance

- Follow all electrical safety procedures and company safety policies.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping in the work area.




- Comply with statutory safety regulations and company SOPs.

Documentation

- Maintain daily maintenance records and checklists.
- Report completed maintenance activities to the supervisor.
- Assist in preparing equipment inspection reports.

General Responsibilities

- Attend assigned shifts and maintain punctuality.
- Learn and follow maintenance procedures and standard operating practices.
- Support emergency maintenance activities whenever required.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
- Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Skills Required

- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, motors break downs, panels, and electrical instruments.
- Ability to use basic electrical hand tools.
- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Willingness to learn and work in a plant environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification

- ITI in Electrician Trade (Fresher’s can apply).

Working Conditions

- Willingness to work in shifts, including overtime when required.
- Able to work in an industrial plant setting.
- Physically fit to perform maintenance-related activities.
